Study & Training

A home for your time studying or training in Dortmund

Gneisenaustraße 93 · 44147 Dortmund

Who it’s for

For everyone who comes to Dortmund for a limited time: students on a semester abroad, with Erasmus or on an exchange, guests of the universities, interns, and apprentices moving to the city for their company or vocational school. Instead of house-hunting from afar, buying furniture and setting up an internet connection, you move into a fully furnished apartment and can focus on your studies, internship or training from day one.

How we support you

Tell us when you arrive, how long you are staying and how many people are coming. We will make you a personal offer that fits your dates. To register with the city, you need a landlord’s confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung): we issue it and explain the next steps – especially if you are coming from abroad, this saves you time and trips. Coming with friends? Live together in one apartment or in separate apartments in the same building. And during your stay you can reach us directly if anything is missing or a question comes up.

At a glance

  • For study and training: semester abroad, Erasmus, internship or apprenticeship – we work around your dates.
  • On your own or with friends: apartments for one to six people, together in one apartment or side by side in the same building.
  • Help with registration: the landlord’s confirmation from us, plus support with the process.

Location

Right in the city, quick to get anywhere

The “Schützenstraße” light rail stop is about 350 meters from the building, and the main station is two stops away. From there, commuter trains, light rail and buses run in every direction: to the university, downtown and to work.

One of the most exciting neighborhoods in the city is taking shape around the port right now. How the house itself got here is told in its story.
